Activities at Singita Kwitonda Lodge

Guests at Kwitonda will be invited to engage in gorilla treks, forest excursions, and visits to Kigali. Volcanoes National Park is renowned for its population of mountain gorillas. Singita’s new lodge is named in honor of a magnificent male silverback renowned for his loving disposition. Currently, the park hosts 10 habituated gorilla groups. Expeditions into the forest to observe the amazing beasts might range from one hour to five to seven hours. Observing gorillas in their natural habitat justifies the extended walks.

A variety of smaller species can be observed en route, including the golden monkey, side-striped jackal, elephant, buffalo, black-fronted duiker, and an array of vibrant avifauna. Guests will be welcome to stroll through the Afro-montane forest of Nyunge. This national park is frequented by chimpanzees, monkeys, jackals, and other wildlife. Ultimately, excursions to Kigali will enable exploration of the capital city’s monuments, museums, galleries, golf course, and further attractions.

Villa guests will benefit from the complimentary services of a house manager, chef, and staff. Spa treatments, day outings, and transfers to and from Kwitonda, as well as gorilla-trekking permits, will incur additional charges.
